I consider IBS – Irritable Bowel Syndrome to be an autoimmune disease. It has all the characteristics of one.

  1. There is no apparent structural problems
  2. Inflammation
  3. No infections
  4. Unknown cause or no obvious cause

For autoimmune diseases I recommend a good probiotic.

  1. Must be a live culture
  2. Must have many strains
  3. Must have known beneficial strains

The probiotic I recommend is Noster ProBiotic or The Real Thing Pro-Probiotic.

  1. I sometimes get a sharp pain in my side which are generally relieved after a lot of burping and gassiness all day. I also get chest pains which can be worrying as one immediately think that there is something wrong with yr heart. But then I have the same burping and gas symptoms which then relieves the pain on my chest/heart. Yesterday I had a very tight painful shoulder muscle with the same symptoms. I took two myprodol capsules when i went to bed and this morning I was fine again. Could I have IBS?

    1. The symptoms seem to be an acid reflux condition. Burping receiving the symptoms is the giveaway.
You must not take any anti-inflammatories, such as Ibuprofen an ingredient of Myprodol.
For immediate relief, you could try antacids, Gaviscon or Lancap etc.
For a long term fix, probiotics, like ours daily will be your best bet. Click here to go to the shop
